We had a pretty fun 4th of July weekend. On Saturday, we got together with my brother and sister and their families, the Fitts and Youngs, Sr. We had the good ole burgers and dogs for dinner with the usual side dishes - yum! We have learned that we must keep a close eye on Kale'a while playing with the cousins...particularly in regards to small objects and pieces of food! On Sunday afternoon we went to a birthday party with more burgers and Chinese food (odd combo but yummy!). On the actual 4th, we borrowed Andy's bike trailer and rode our tandem bike with Kale'a in the trailer. Boy, was it a sight - and so much fun! We rode downtown to watch the annual Flagstaff Parade. The main attraction we wanted to see was for Sara Irvine (age 7). Her birthday was that weekend and her aunt Rachel got her a car/place in the parade! I think Rachel wins "Favorite Auntie" of the Century! Who can beat that?! Later in the afternoon, we went to the Pioneer Museum which we were hoping would have military reinactments, etc. but turned out they didn't. But the kids played on the train instead. We then spent an hour or so at Thorpe Park playing around. To end the day, Cooper and Katie brought over a lovely dinner and we played Settlers of Catan. It was a great weekend!

Watching the parade. Kale'a loved all the excitement!

Sara is in the middle of the car, with the hat on. Her aunts, brothers, sister, parents, grandparents, and some friends all walked alongside!

Daaaaaaad, can't you see I'm busy?!
Sink baths! Cooper says he actually remembers sink baths. I don't remember them at all.
