Fun times

First, a little over a week ago, we went to one of Kale'a's first friend's birthday party who just turned 1!  Rory's mom loves to bake and the cupcakes were outstanding!  It was a lot of fun to spend time with good friends of all ages!

Yesterday, we were able to fulfill one of my life goals - to see Les Miserables Broadway performance live (in Phoenix)!  We planned this double date (with the above mentioned parents) months ago.  The singers were amazing and there is no doubt why this musical has lasted 25 years.  There was one bad song which included crude/lewd and highly inappropriate/graphic acting (so beware lest you are tempted to take kids).  I must give a shout out to the woman who played Eponine, who, in my opinion, had the best voice!  I love musicals and always come away amazed at God's creativity in voices which makes me want to join a choir!

This was all made possible by Aimee who willingly babysat Kale'a all day (about 12 hours)!  Apparently Kale'a was very good for her but Aimee is still satisfied with her 5 kids. ;)  The cousins all adore Kale'a and I'm sure she never lacked for attention!
