On Jan. 8, our Sweet Pea turned 5...5!.,..yikes! Thankfully she still likes to cuddle! Kale'a had an extended fun birthday celebration. While Daddy was on break from work after Christmas, they had an early "birthday Daddy date" where they went out to eat and went swimming at the Aquaplex! Thankfully, they went the day before it closed for 3 months renovation. Kale'a is our little adventurer and loves the water!
Then, on her actual birthday there was a lull between snow storms. Daddy made a "hill" from shoveled snow that the kids sledded down. This was before I got the boys some good snow boots so they were a bit discouraged with their galoshes. :) The next morning, Daddy took Kale'a to do some fresh powder sledding on a real hill! They had lots and lots of fun! And that afternoon was her party - with all the beloved cousins of course. :)
