Big Girl

Kale'a took her first nap in her big girl toddler bed today!  She even went to sleep without trying to get out first!  We'll see how long that lasts.  But we have 4 months to perfect her transition until little brother comes along.  And we have to train her to not use her pacifier to fall asleep because it is bound to get lost down the sides of the bed.  Now to keep vigil attendance over closing doors and the baby gate!

  1. Success! She looks pretty content in that bed. I would like to take back all the times I didn't want a nap as a kid. :-)

  2. What a well-behaved child to not get out of bed the first time! :) I'm sure it is because of her excellent parents! We trained all our kids to not get out of bed until we came to get them (until they were old enough to not get into too much trouble) and it's amazing that they obeyed...they just sit there and wait or play and never question it (much different than all the other rules, which is weird), so it is possible to do!
