A fun weekend

This weekend was quite full!  Our church put on a marriage tune-up weekend.  So our first babysitters were a good friend of mine, Jeannie, her two girls and another friend.  They just loved on Kale'a and I think it was the highlight of their week!  Friday night was an "old-fashioned" date night.  We ate at the Galaxy Diner (50's style) then most people went to the big high school rival football game (we didn't).  Saturday night was at the church and we had a guest speaker talk about how Christ should be the center of your marriage.

On Saturday a local plant nursery had a Harvest Festival.  Oddly enough they did not have a pumpkin patch.  But Kale'a and all the cousins had a fun time looking at some animals and going through the hay maze.  As you can see, Kale'a was particularly scary.  Despite her persistence, cousin Judah would not play with Kale'a.  :)  After the Festival we went to a local park to play and eat Snickers ice cream bars!  Yum!

Judah? Please play...at least look at me...please!

Judah...please play!  Can I at least take your toy away from you?

Then yesterday, we headed to my sisters house to crash a birthday party which we invited ourselves to.  The cousins once again had a lot of fun - particularly with all the balloons. :)

  2. Wow, Berea and Kale'a aren't nearly as differently sized as they used to be!! And Judah was pretty funny, staunchly ignoring her, poor girl. :-)
