Apparently people still read this blog since I got harassed this weekend for not updating it. Honestly, I thought it had been more recent but they were right, the last photos were of Christmas! Oops!
Now that a lot of time has passed, these "old" photos will help you relive the beginning of 2017. :)
First off, as usual, is Kale'a's birthday. We had a Tea Party for all her little friends. It was a fun time and amazingly calm. For many, it was their very first tea party! We actually had some games which I think they enjoyed. Drinking in china tea cups was the best party though!

We got our first round of baby chicks in mid-February. If you haven't heard the story, it's a bit dramatic. I will spare the nitty details and sum up. Right when we were ready to put the chicks in the yard, our neighbor's (brother's) dog chewed through the chicken wire and killed them all. Turns out he is a hunter dog. We got another round of chicks. This time we double fenced them. Well, the dog got into the first fence then chewed through the chicken wire again and killed the second set. Thankfully, they re-housed the dog and our third set of chickens are doing well!
