It's all fun and games!

No, really, it is ALL fun and games!  I was going to separate this into several blog posts but really, it's all the same thing - fun and games.  So be warned!  Photo dump ahead!

The kids have taken to shivering every time they eat ice cream

Grandma and Grandpa came from CA for a visit this spring

For our 7th anniversary we stayed at the La Posada Hotel in Winslow.  The 4 poster bed with curtains kind of made it like plush camping.  And the food in the hotel restaurant was DELICIOUS!

This is an historic hotel that is gradually being renovated to its glory days.  Here is one of the gardens.

We were going to canoe East Clear Creek but the forecast was cool, windy and rainy.  Instead, we went for a drive and inspected this new bridge. :)

One of Kale'a's best friends moved to WA.  They were born 6 months apart and often look like sisters!

The "benefits" of having a big sister.....

We watched the life cycle of a butterfly again this year.  Kale'a is trying to get them out of the cage.

Look at the wonder and excitement of watching the butterfly fly away for its first time!

More wonder and excitement as our neighbor digs up an old stump with his HUGE tractor!

Helping Mama set up for the yard sale

Yes, again.... Titus the orange fairy

This needs a country song playing in the background.  Daddy pulling kids in a wagon with the tractor being followed by the dog.  Chickens and trailer in the background.

Camping near Mormon Lake.

Swimming in Lake Mary.  It was actually on the warm side!

It rained for about a week.  Haven't seen a drop of monsoon water since.  Gotta be the driest July ever.

Super hero costumes still a bit hit

Let's hope we don't see this when he's older...

At the city/county "Touch a Truck".  His favorite was the tractor.  The other kids were sick and couldn't go this year. :(
