This and that

I realize it's been a little while since I've written about what is going on in our household.  Caleb has started a new job - with a company started up by some former coworkers.  He is enjoying it and is very busy, which is excellent in this economy!  He is enjoying playing around with his new iPhone, too.  :)  We enjoyed a visit  by Caleb's brother and sister-in-law who were anxious to meet Kale'a!

 I had a great birthday with lots of family and friends.  Here is one of my favorite gifts from Caleb - we've been looking for good hiking shoes for me ever since we've been married.

Last weekend, we picked up my parents from the airport (while Aimee watched Kale'a).  They will be in CA and AZ for the next 10 months on their last furlough until they retire.  We look forward to many good times in the coming year!  Yesterday was the twin cousins' second birthday!  Lots of family and sugar (dinner was french toast)!  The girls were not very interested in blowing out their candles.  However, Auntie Faith and Uncle Gary won the day with the mini "trampoline" gift!

Meanwhile, Kale'a is having fun with her new toys - a mixed-up set of Little People that we got at a yard sale.  Although at this point she prefers to chew on the animals rather than play with them.
