Last night, we went to a dessert and talk with Dave and Deana Irvine. They are hoping to eventually go to the mission field and were updating us on what is going on in their lives. I have known the Irvines for quite a while and used to live in the same housing complex as them and also their daughter Rachel who is one of my best friends. Anyways, Deana is a midwife and helped with Kale'a's birth at the hospital. So it was appropriate that we got a picture on Kale'a's birth-iversary!
Also, yesterday a package arrived for Kale'a. It was a quilt made by Auntie Patricia! (Actually, Patricia is my sister's husband's brother's wife or my brother's wife's brother's wife - but pretty much family!) Patricia had made us a quilt for our wedding and she used the scraps to make a miniature version for Kale'a! On the back side are some fun jungle animals. Very awesome!
