A Mom's Prayer

I'm sure Moses was not necessarily thinking of this wife and household when he wrote Psalm 90 but the last portion sure rings true for me today as a mom in an oftentimes chaotic place.  Make it your prayer too!

Psalm 90:14-17

O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness,

That we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

Make us glad according to the days You have afflicted us,

And the years we have seen evil.

Let Your work appear to Your servants

And Your majesty to their children.

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,

And confirm for us the work of our hands,

Yes, confirm the work of our hands.

(and for good measure and encouragement)

Psalm 91:1-2

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High

Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say to the Lord "My refuge and my fortress,

My God, in whom I trust!"
