Happy winter!

We decide to decorate for Christmas on Thanksgiving weekend - presumably so that we could start the Advent calendar on time. :)  With the chilly days and lately, foggy too it feels like the festive season has begun!  Caleb is done with collecting and cutting wood for the winter but is still busy hauling it inside and making fires (which is much more rewarding, in my opinion!).  Today at lunch we had a beautiful visitor (see pictures below).  And there are more pictures of my beautiful children, as always!
Learning about the Pilgrims and Indians during Thanksgiving time.

A quick visit from cute baby cousin Soren (and parents)

Shake, rattle and roll!

The one foot mid-section of the tree got decorated (then reorganized by mom, then most taken off due to breakage)

I was in the back of the house talking to the plumber. They were supposed to be painting rocks like ladybugs...

Add eggs and peas to his "safe" list!

Our foggy day visitor.  Now I know why the prior owners left a hay bale in the front yard!
